May YOU Rest In Peace.

Found some photos taken by myself during my previous experiments. Taken to be attached in my practical reports.
When it comes to animal dissections, most of the Malaysian students dissect animals like frog, guinea pig( i used to dissect it before), hamsters and fish(both are in my list too) . To further investigate on animal respiration, my lecturer wanted us to get any animals to be dissected to check on their respiration systems. Well, one of my group member managed to catch a huge grasshopper. There some groups were dissecting cockroaches. That's YUCKSS!!!! Poor grasshopper. I felt so sorry for you. I was the culprit in this violent crime. I had to because none of my group members would dare to touch it, not to say dissect it. Before the dissection, we needed to kill it using chloroform in a closed jar. And then put it on a dissecting board made of wax as you can see in the picture below. Nice wings, huh?

The photo above was taken through the lens of the microscope..Clear image. Check out those air bags/ air sacs. It was my first time dissecting an insect and i got to tell you that it was fascinating to look at the respiratory systems of fish, grasshopper as well as cockroach. By the way, i dissected a fish before this grasshopper's dissection. think i've deleted some of the photos. One could hardly get this kind of chance to dissect animal if it isn't for academic use. So, syukurlah!!!==''

Try to get photos of cockroach from my friends( if they still keep them)
Lastly, we all appreciated your sacrifice, which made my practical a success...
Till then..ciao...

Excursion With Familia

Enjoying ourselves at the Sematan beach, Kuching.

Stopping by the "TURN RED CAFE" on our way back to home...It's a very nice cafe with a mini-zoo beside it..We only manage to go around the cafe and took some photos of course. Not far frm this cafe, there is a cave, called " Fairy Cave"

Again...heading to Wind Cave, which is a great experience for me.It only cost us RM 21(six of us) for the entrance fees including the torch lights rentals. RM 3.00 per adult and RM 1.50 for children. RM 1.50 for students. Bring along your own torch light to save money..haha

WindCave
During this short pleasure trip with family around Kuching, we had been to Sematan, Lundu, Bau, Serikin. Indeed a great time!!!!Looking forward to the coming Chinese New Year trip .Hehe...

LOVE YOUR BRAIN!!!

Well, this morning...a post on facebook has come to my attention. It was posted by my cousin. Clicked it. And that's the reason i'm blogging now.Teehee!!!

It is a website about brain games and brain training. Whoa! cant believe he's actually playing this games..looks like someone is getting cautious about BRAIN'S matters. Lolz..(slap my face for saying this)
Here's the link. http://www.lumosity.com/ - "Lumosity, reclaim your brain". I registered IMMEDIATELY!!i always concerned about those things which can make me smarter lo, long lasting memory lo...juz anything that will make ME a GENIUS(merely impossible).

Juz one day..i have plyed about 10 games.can u see my determination? lol..
what's make me so upset is "I GET C+ IN MY BRAIN TEST" is juz C+.mkns!...==lll

How disappointing.wish i could get a better grade than that. Guess i don't fully use my brain afterall!!!Shame on me!Frankly, i always try to avoid those problems which required me to squish my brain which resulting the low grade-C+.

"Your brain needs care just like the body" whoa, that's a cool things to say. Pls spend 10 minutes a day to login the website and play some of the games for the sake of your brain instead of facebooking and replying comments..
Just for your information, by the age of 30, the functionality of our brains starting to decline. You tend to forget names, what you've said earlier, having trouble focusing and so on. In the end, (tada...) Alzheimer disease(common brain disorder among old people).

Got to teach mum play those games...Btw, they also have mobile training, in case u are not at home, u cnt login using ur mobile phone. IPHONE, IPOD TOUCH,ANROID(??) and PALM PRE(??). what you wating for...register now and start your brain training. REMEMBER..Love Your Brain!!

-Your Tooth-

Enamel..the thin, tough outer layer of our teeth which is also the hardest substances in our human body. Most of the people(yup, count me in) don't pay much attention on the protection of this part.Too bad. Until this morning, i read an article at here:
http://www.myfatpocket.com/lifestyle/health-food/fruits-that-destroy-your-teeth.html

It's an article on "Fruits That Destroy Your Teeth" by Esther Cheng. Citrus acid in fruits such as LEMONORANGESPINEAPPLEAPPLEPLUMSPEACHESGRAPEFRUITS etc can erode away the dental enamel. I googled more regarding enamel erosion and check out what i've found. If this continue without any further protections..sooner or later
.
.
.
this is what you will see in the mirror

or this

=="

Since we can't prevent ourselves from consuming fruits which are part of the balanced diet, we could only slow down the enamel acid erosion. From the article, suggested way is not to brush your teeth immediately or within the hour after you've just eaten. Istead, rinse your mouth with water.

Other factors causes Tooth Enamel Erosion?

a. Eating lots of sour food(so ladies...watch out) or candies.

b. Consumption of too many soft drinks and fruit drinks.

c. Poor dental hygiene

d.Dry mouth of low saliva volume. (saliva helps prevent decay by neuralizing acids and washing away leftover foods in mouth)

pls figure out yourself the precaution steps from the factors..You'll know what to do, right?

Or stop by at this website,

http://www.webmd.com/oral-health/healthy-teeth-10/tooth-enamel-protection

A boring post but at least i learnt something this morning.Lolz..

9

Wondering what's "9"? It's the movie i watched with my bros this evening. It was a cool sci-fi movie directed by Shane Acker.
The reason why is chose it at the very first time is because the name of the producer "Tim Burton" that caught my attention. Grabbed it and read the synopsis at the back. Good so borrowed it..Nice quality too..And the best part is watching it with my bros...and of course if ah jing could watch with us..it would be just nice. Another two of my sis never and they won't watch this kind of movie..wuakaka...Anyway, two of you(ling and jiun), watch it and prove to me that i'm wrong and feel free to leave some comments after watching it.
Okey.Back to the movie..

There are 9 characters in this movie. Everyone of them was named as 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and finally 9 which is also the main character in the movie. They look like puppets but they are actually machines invented by a scientists. Scientist..of course..scientist had invented something bad then he regretted it and created others machines to save the world and bla bla bla..Is kinda same in this movie. It is the machines which impressed me. See the machine (especially4th pic) at the below pictures..

This is the machine is i mentioned just now. It is a machine created by another machine. Cool huh...Yup..the machine down there(with red light).

Is 9.....see the number at the back..that's the number represented every each of them.

Is 9 again. The thing that he was holding was the thing that awaken the huge machine..Soory ..if i make it complicated..

Here comes the 6..He didn't talk much in the movie but he drew alot. All his drawings were the thing he knelt on to, as you can see in the picture above.

Yes..this is the machine which impressed me.Don't know why..I just "wa...never seen such a
sophisticated machine.Almost forgot to introduce to all of u, is the 7 (the only girl in the movie) that the machine holding to.

The one with one eye is 5, beside him was 6.

"The Beast"..in the movie..that's what the "puppet" called it. it looks more like a dog to me..haha

Is 2( the one with light on his head)

Is 5 and 9 again. Planning to rescued 2 after 2 get caught by the beast..
okey..that's all for the movie...Really proud of myself for uploaded so many pictures . I seldom upload picture..hard...btw, all the pictures above aren't arranged accordingly.haha..WATCH IT..
HAHA..
Just to share with you all, we will probably watching "MULAN" (by vicki zhao)tonight or tomorrow morning..wuakakakakaka...Too bad that three of you cant watch it...
oooohh...another update for you all.Grandma here..GOSH..u girls knw what i mean ..WHAT A day..

~ Wh4t a Suprise!!!!

Yup. Still can't believe it....=.=llll
I don't really have time to blog but today, there is an exception. I have to blog this.. Is a must.
Yesterday, my sis bf (Alvin) got me a camera. A CAMERA!!!!!! CAMERA!!!! CAMERA ee!!! He said it's for my birthday present. How can a person gifted camera for others as their birthday present. Ngaiti. Till now, i still shocked with what i had received. i have to say that never in my life, i get suchhh pricey things as my birthday present.
I was supposed to borrow a camera from him for my coming PBS(Pengalaman Berasaskan Sekolah) at SJK(c) Kwang Chien in my hometown. I need a camera to take photos of the teachers and record some videos on how those teachers teach. But things turned out that he gifted me a camera..i didn't even know how to react when i accepted the present. I shouldn't have to borrow the camera from him. A camera could costs hundreds and even thousands... not just one or two hundreds..=.=lll.
Before this, i was telling my sister that i was planning to get a camera for myself and walau...u know..i don't have to mention it again.
What should i do?
A camera..BABYCHOO can't handle such stress when it involved lots of money...Breath!!!Keep Breathing!!!wakakaka
i have to say too...wakaka i almost teared when i got it..Ngaiti..TOO EXPENSIVE....this isn't right.=.=lll
I seldom celebrate my birthday. i don't like cakes or birthday song or any party. For me, it just another odinary day. Of course it would be nice to receive birthday presents from others( this is the day i can get things from my friends without having to pay anything right?) but a small gift will do for me, even a birthday wish via sms could make it up.

Anyway, ALVIN, if you happen to read this post, i just want to say thousands times of thank yousssss... that RM 40.70( dinner) really nothing compared to what i got..... ThankYOU.
Thanks a million times.....

Ciao..WAIT..Wondering how the camera looks like?
i shall post it up next time......
till then..bye..
take care..

Last D4y Of CNY

I'm sitting here, facing my boring laptop again with lots of assignments and presentations waiting for me this coming week. There are many fireworks out there, i can hear the sound and see them very clearly through the windows. Nice to look at but i'm not happy at all lo..Haihz..so sad..People are celebrating the Chap Goh Meh, and i'm sitting here alone planning what to do later. How sad.Maybe i'm too stressed with the presentation tomorrow night..that's why i'm so emotional now. The sounds of the fireworks are getting louder and louder. The louder they are, the sadder i get. LoL....
The celebration of the fifteenth day of the Chinese New Year(Chap Goh Mei), here at Kuching is merrier than in Sarikei.

It was really nice to be back home during last friday. Yup, is actually yesterday and the day before..time passed so fast...haihz..Mum was so happy. She cooked lots of dishes, of course they were specially cooked for Alvin, sis bf.Too bad because he didn't eat much. I didn't eat much too. Jiun too. Too bad again.

Need to get back to my work now. Take care..Wish me luck for my presentation tomorrow night. It only takes about 3 minutes but it has make me so nervous. Ngaiti.......Relax..Breath...=.="..

Ciao...

.....Tutorial ....

I won't write much about this homesick feelings coz it won't cure, it will just get even worse...Haiz..
But at least, i can go back more often than both my sis which are farther from Sarawak.

Tons of assignments need to hang in before the coming March's break.
( 3 more weeks then i can go back again)

Before the Chinese New Year break, one of the teacher trainee here had lost her cellphone and laptop. It happened late at night. From what i had heard, she was chit-chatting with her friend until late at night and both of them were so careless that they didn't lock the door room before slept. Only the next day, they realised that someone had entered their room and they had lost their things.

Okey..all of us were shocked and checked if we lost anything ( Us referred to me and my friends which stay at another blok which quite far away). =.=lll ..But, life still goes on. All of us went back to our hometown to celebrate Chinese New Year...Nobody talked about it, how it happened, who could be the culprit? (This isn't the first time)and so on ....That's weird coz usually we are quite "38"...

Until just now.... my tutor( the one who said - if you think you are slimmer, then you are slim lo) told us that the burglar was actually the security guard of our institut. Ngaiti..never thought about this before- a SECURITY GUARD sneaked into the girl's hostel? Walau..and the question is how he will know that the room didn't lock up-which means he actually tried to open all the rooms there and how lucky that he finally found someone who was so careless. Salute HIM...There are hundreds of rooms there....
How fortunate that nothing bad happened to those girls..coz i don't want any rape case in this institut..

Our tutor just want us, especially girls to be more careful and never ever trust the guards......Then, he went on telling us even more raping case by the security guards from all over Malaysia. It was tutorial class, so it's story-telling time.. Here are some advices given by him during his tutorial...

" If you are surrounded by two or more than two man, and you are alone, never ever struggle this is to minimise your injuries. Let you mind shut down, your body is no longer yours and let them do whatever they want. This is the best way to keep ourselves ALIVE"....(Walau..our body no longer yours..i don't think so...)
How cruel, right???..The reason why you are doing this is because nowadays rapers tends to rape and murder the girl, if they don't killed their victims, themselves have to face the SEVERE sentences....
When the punishments become severe, they will kill their victim ;on the other hand, if the punishments imposed just required those criminal to pay some fines or locked up for a couple of years then it would more crimes of rape.
No doubts that the governments are trying to help those rape victims by enforcing the laws, but things always turn out to be the different ways. Knowing that raping would ended up badly, of course those rapers would kill their victims so that it would be no more evidences leftover.

So, girls.
PLS PROTECT YOURSELVES. LOVE AND TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOURSELF...
(Don't think that this will never happen to you, just be careful!!!)
