It's an article on "Fruits That Destroy Your Teeth" by Esther Cheng. Citrus acid in fruits such as LEMONORANGESPINEAPPLEAPPLEPLUMSPEACHESGRAPEFRUITS etc can erode away the dental enamel. I googled more regarding enamel erosion and check out what i've found. If this continue without any further protections..sooner or later

Since we can't prevent ourselves from consuming fruits which are part of the balanced diet, we could only slow down the enamel acid erosion. From the article, suggested way is not to brush your teeth immediately or within the hour after you've just eaten. Istead, rinse your mouth with water.
Other factors causes Tooth Enamel Erosion?
a. Eating lots of sour food(so ladies...watch out) or candies.
b. Consumption of too many soft drinks and fruit drinks.
c. Poor dental hygiene
d.Dry mouth of low saliva volume. (saliva helps prevent decay by neuralizing acids and washing away leftover foods in mouth)
pls figure out yourself the precaution steps from the factors..You'll know what to do, right?
